Things To Do

We love Sarasota. There are a million things to do and you can't really go wrong with restaurants - especially downtown, in Saint Armands Circle or on Siesta Key, but these are some of our favorites:

Indigenous Restaurant

239 South Links Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34236
, (941) 706-4740

We had dinner here the night we booked our wedding. They offer amazing, sustainable seafood but don't miss out on the parmesan beignets! It's upscale but 1000% worth it.

The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art

5401 Bay Shore Road, Sarasota, FL 34243
, (941) 359-5700

This was a real contender for the wedding since it boasts some of the most breathtaking views in Sarasota. And yes, the Ringling we're talking about is the circus guy. If you're into history and art, stop here!

Siesta Key Oyster Bar

5238 Ocean Boulevard, Sarasota, FL 34242
, (941) 346-5443

A fun, casual spot for great seafood and cheap, stiff drinks. It's the kind of place with bibs. They have a great happy hour -- $7 for a dozen oysters!

Siesta Beach

FL 34242

Said to be some of the most beautiful beaches in the US. If you have time, we definitely recommend a few hours here!

Boca Sarasota

19 South Lemon Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34236
, (941) 256-3565

A middle of the road (price-wise) restaurant for great food (especially brunch!) and delicious craft cocktails. It's an easy walk from the hotel too.

Saint Armands Circle

Saint Armands Circle, Sarasota, FL 34236

The best spot for walking around, shopping and grabbing a bite to eat. Get the crab chowder and a mojito at Tommy Bahama (seriously).

For all the days along the way
