One day, our friend Jeremy was visiting my (Nicole's!) yoga studio. At lunch, I was regaling him with tale after tale of failed online dates. I ended the conversation by saying, "I'm done online dating, so if you know anyone, let me know" in that kind of tone you use when you just want a conversation to end. He said he didn't think so, and that was that. That very same night, Jeremy was talking to his jiu jitsu instructor on their way out of class. Said instructor was talking about dating, lamenting that he, too, was having no success, and ended the conversation by saying, "I'm done online dating, so if you know anyone, let me know."
