Our story began in a very modern way—on Bumble. Mesa made the first move, and from that moment on, it was clear these two couldn’t be more different… yet somehow perfectly matched. Their first date was at Applebee’s, where Michael’s outgoing, easygoing personality immediately contrasted Mesa’s more organized, type-A nature—made especially obvious when Michael got distracted by a NASCAR race playing behind her. Despite the differences (or maybe because of them), the connection was undeniable. Over time, Mesa’s planning balanced Michael’s spontaneity, Michael’s laughter softened Mesa’s structure, and together they created a love built on humor, patience, and partnership. After many memories, adventures, and Mesa finding the ring more than once before the proposal, they’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people they love most.
