Becca Lira

Becca is Mandi's feisty little sister who always wanted to be in her business. Now she is thrilled to have her as her main lady in the wedding business! Becca and Mandi got especially close while they were at U Indy together. Becca and Michael have also bonded quickly over their love for coaching, working out and college sports(Becca played Volleyball at U-Indy). Becca is married to Cole and is mother to my first niece and Goddaughter! Becca is a stay at home mom-boss who takes care of Addy while running her own at home business! Mandi can always count on her for: sharing her clothes, helping her with her Poshmark business, and being her best friend forever.
Lindley

Lindley and Mandi first met at Freshman Orientation at Purdue and spent many hours on campus dolling up, tailgating/cheering on the Boilers, dancing and "studying". They were able to grow in friendship and faith together at St. Tom's and during their Spring Break mission trip. Lindley is happily married to Marc Makins and they have an adorable 1 year old, Adeline :) She is an ER nurse in Southern Indiana. Mandi can always count on her for: a good laugh, great advice, having sweets on had, cleaning up, and providing fashion advice.
Hannah

Mandi and Hannah has an instant bond created in their last year at Purdue, often spending time together growing in faith at St. Tom's, "studying" in the Union, relaxing at Harry's after late night study sessions, dancing the night away, and laughing about various shenanigans Hannah is happily married to her husband Matthew and they are expecting their first baby in October! They live in Boston where she is in her MD residency. Mandi can always count on her for: late night adventures, post studying Harry's appearances, deep conversation, gluten free baking, sweet birthday notes, and constant laughter.
Shawna

Shawna and Mandi met during their time in Waco. Shawna is one of the crazy people who dropped everything and moved randomly to Waco,TX as a new grad(just like Mandi). They became fast friends, especially when Mandi lived in Shawna’s loft for month during her transition to San Antonio. Mandi can always count on her for: a great laugh, a long hike, thoughtful conversations, online shopping, hanging out with Michael, road trips to random TX destinations, making vegetarian recipes, and crafting.
Caroline

Another free spirit who decided to move alone to Waco, Tx. This Chicagoan was an incredible blessing to Mandi in Waco. In fact, she went with her the day she met Michael. And she has been the couple's number one fan ever since! This beautiful human has taken heed to an amazing calling and is currently serving two years as a missionary in Vietnam, and started up a free children therapy clinic. She is literally flying across the world to be at our wedding. Mandi can always count on her for: laughing at each other's unfortunate(but often hilarious) mishaps, a workout buddy, a great Jesus talk, crafting, and gladly joining Michael and Mandi's date nights(at the couple's request of course).
Callie

A fellow OT grad student who became a best friend when Mandi's off campus house had a small fire and she ended up spending the last 3 months living in a dorm(yup- nothing like having RA's and quiet hours as a 24 year old). Lucky for Mandi, Callie was an RA at the building she lived in. Needless to say, living in a dorm as a 24 year old was one of the best times of Mandi's life thanks to this sweet lady. Callie is married to Nathan Stoneking and works as an OT in a special needs school in Lafayette, IN( She is slowly becoming a Purdue fan- Boiler up!) Mandi can always count on her for: a listening ear, great advice, inspiration to always be positive, a great night out on the town, a T-swift jam session, and great late night talks.
Caitlin

Mandi met Caitlin on the freshman volleyball team but the two didn't get close until they had classes together the following year. Caitlin and her now husband, Brandon, were always welcoming Mandi to hang out with them no matter the occasion. Mandi and Caitlin spent countless hours together boating on the river, watching Brandon's football games, talking all night at frequent sleep overs, and hanging out at youth group. Mandi can always count on her for: giving good advice, always welcoming her into her home and family, and helping her annoy her younger brothers. Caitlin is married to her high school sweatheart(and one of my closest friends), They have 2 beautiful boys, Boston and Lockryn. She is a Labor and Delivery Nurse and lives in Mishawaka, IN
Molly

Sister of the Groom and now Mandi's sister too! This fun loving girl is the only person who can compete with her brother in regards to making people laugh and feel welcome! Molly lives in San Antonio and works at an amazing boutique restaurant downtown. She is currently saving up money to start her own food truck! Mandi can always count on her for: a good laugh, helping plan the wedding, dinner and drinks at La Gloria, and making a delicious beverage a la molly.
Melody

Sister of the Groom and now Mandi's sister too. This wonderful lady always brightens her day and is a great person to chill with in the 210. Melody lives in San Antonio and is manager at best ice cream spot in town. She is the definition of a Foodie and always introduces Michael and me to new, cool eateries. Mandi can always count on her to: Show off the cool spots in town, bring Amy's Ice Cream to every family event, hang out at the Squeezebox, and cheer on the Spurs.
Daniel Castillo
Best Man
Michael met Daniel in 1994, while playing sports at Blessed Sacrament. They played together all the way from coach pitch to college at Colorado Christian University. After four years of college baseball, Daniel felt a calling to serve our country and did one tour in Afghanistan. After the army, Daniel moved back to San Antonio. They have been best friends for 23 years, grew up together, and have been with each other through the good times and the bad. Daniel now resides in Chicago with his wife Jackie.
Chad Meske

Michael met Chad his freshman year at Colorado Christian University. They were roommates for three years, attended mass together on Sundays, and played together at CCU. Michael feels Chad is pound for pound the best player he has EVER played with l. Chad’s parents were like second parents to Michael in college. They would come visit and treat Michael like a second son. After college, Chad was the head baseball coach at Judge Memorial before taking a job with Mizuno North America. The two have stayed in touch through weekly phone calls and late night "remember when" texts. Chad is so close to Michael that he calls him his brother, and the two text and call each other on "National Siblings Day". Chad is from Salt Lake City, Utah and currently resides in San Diego California.
Seve Carbajal

Michael met Seve his Junior year at CCU. Seve mentored Michael in his walk with Christ and always kept him accountable even when it was trying. Michael has said time and time again that Seve is the greatest Christian role model he has ever met. Outside of baseball, they attended Bible Studies every week and battled hours on the ping pong table. Seve and Michael call each other every Monday morning to talk about life and pray. It is a conversation Michael looks forward to every week. Seve is in his 6th year as an assistant coach at CCU, and is married to the former Ms. Brooke Wittmayer, who was a Volleyball player at CCU, and the true athlete in the marriage! They live in Denver with their beautiful daughter.
Matt Landon

Matt is Michael's cousin and the two grew up in South Texas together. Closer then just cousins, they consider each other "bros". They have stayed close even after Matt and Michael moved out of state. Whether at Lake LBJ, the Landon Ranch, or Los Barrios the two always enjoy conversations over two tall glasses of Big Red. The two have a certain belief in each other and always push one another to be the best they can be. Matt has the way of making everyone feel better, and they have been laughing together for 26 years. Michael has had the privilege to watch Matt grow into the person he is today, and he couldn't be prouder. Matt's determination and work ethic to excel everyday in life has always inspired Michael. Matt is currently studying for his MBA at the University of Texas.
Mark Crocco

Mark and Michael met in the summer of 2008 while playing in the Boise Summer League. The following year Mark was an assistant coach for the Nampa Wolfpack, where Michael had the pleasure of playing under "Coach Croc". Mark is the main reason Michael has been able to pursue his career in college baseball. Mark has coached at Wingate, the Air Force Academy, Presbyterian College and now is head coach at Erskine College. Mark hired Michael to help coach the Flyers and helped him develop as a coach. The two have helped each other grow in their faith and careers. They always end phone conversations with "I love you". He currently resides in Fountain Inn, SC with his wife Whitney Crocco and new daughter, Charleston.
TJ Dougherty

T.J. is Michael's older cousin, and someone he has looked up to his entire life. T.J. has taught Michael just about everything from how to tackle to how to talk to girls. When they were young, T.J. would invite him to Laser Quest or movies with his friends, and as T.J. got older, he would pick up 10 yr old Michael, and cruise around in his truck listening to Dr. Dre. T.J. proudly served our country in the United States Navy after he finished at Texas Tech. He is the best role model someone could ask for, and to this day Michael ask's T.J. advice on anything important. T.J. was the first person Michael called when he started thinking about marrying Mandi. T.J. resides in Stockdale, TX with his wife Destiny and their three children Ty, Addy May and Mazy (Michael's God Daughter).
Cam Corbett

Michael met Cameron his freshman year at Colorado Christian University. Cam was the best teammate Michael ever played with, a four year starter on the mound from the great WYO. Cam is a fun loving, laid back guy. Even though Cam didn't come through on naming his first son "Bootsie"(MIchael's nickname in college) as was agreed upon by the two gentleman after a Tuesday night at The Sundance in college, he is still honored to have him as his groomsman. One of Michael's favorite places in the world is the Corbett Family Cabin (YAY EXTRAVANGANZA!!!) located in Deadwood SD, where they still enjoy visiting yearly. Cam and Aubrey reside in Casper WY, with their beautiful daughter Ryan and son Cal.
Steve Lira

Steve is Mandi's younger( but much taller) brother. Steve has spent many weekends visiting Mandi and Michael in San Antonio. Michael has treated Steve like a brother and the two have bonded while deep sea fishing, talking over brews, and laughing about Mandi's quirks. Mandi regards Steve as one of her best friends and they love camping, traveling, visiting authentic ethnic restaurants, and cooking together. Steve and Mandi got to spend two years together at Purdue living across the street from each other. While there, they were both involved in St. Tom's and the Cooperative system. Steve was always there for Mandi when she wanted to get off campus, go to a random event, or just relax Steve currently resides in Ardmore, Ok working as an Agricultural Economics Researcher.
Tim Lira

Tim is Mandi’s youngest brother and now a brother to Michael. Michael has been a great resource for Tim as he navigated the college baseball scene. The two would spend lots of time discussing plays, analyzing swings, and sharing baseball stories. Tim is finishing his last year at Missouri S&T and is engaged to the lovely Anna Nedderman.
