Visit the largest Mexican market outside of Mexico. Great place for Mexican pottery, food, and dancers. Check out the Frutería for delicious fresh fruit and aguas frescas. One of my favorite restaurants, Mi Tierra, is here too(open 24/7 but always busy!)
The old Pearl Brewery was given a major face lift and now is a cultural hot spot along the north side of the river walk. It’s about 2 miles north of the church. There are awesome shops and restaurants. I suggest La Gloria for authentic Mexican street food.
One of the most famous things about San Antonio!! This beautiful old world paseo is full of restaurants and bars in the main loop, but if you follow the path north or south it is calm, beautiful, and full of artistic surprises.
Get out and enjoy the fabulous winter weather on this 8 mile extension of the riverwalk. Easy and paved! If you ride the entire trail you can visit all four beautiful historic missions. We like to rent from Blue Star Bicycles( Their address and phone numbers are above). Or you can rent from the bike share!!
Did you know there are 5 missions in town(including the Alamo) They are all connected by the River walk! Plus all are still active churches!
