Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Michael Maher and Lisa Nguyen
In addition to our limited list below we encourage everyone to wander the city on foot, follow your gut and eat whatever smells good. Go hang out at a kafana, walk through Skadarlija, drink rakija, try every type of burek, check out the churches and Brutalist architecture. Don't be shy - chat with the locals! We guarantee their advice will be better than ours.
Faro

Faro

141 Vojislava Ilića, Beograd, 11000, Serbia

We visited this restaurant on the back of a recommendation of our dear friend Vladimir; also highly recommended by Stefan. Picturesque outdoor ambiance, mouthwatering menu and outstanding wine selection (*chef's kiss*). There is plenty of open seating at lunch but you may want to make a reservation for dinner. Cannot go wrong for the price. @faro_beograd

Iva New Balkan Cuisine

Iva New Balkan Cuisine

11 Kneginje Ljubice, Beograd, 11000, Serbia

As you might gather from the name, a more modern take on lot of Serbian dishes with an emphasis on food sustainability and fresh ingredients. Had a lovely brunch here with Kica and his family. Kid friendly with thoughtful food, coffee, and (of course) a solid wine list. @ivanewbalkancuisine

Organski Podrum

Organski Podrum

Takovska 13, Beograd, Serbia

The first natural wine store and bar we visited in Belgrade. The majority of wines are produced in Serbia alongside a few French exceptions. They have small snacks in parallel with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Check their website and Instagram for tastings and live music events. @organskipodrum

Proces Wine Bar

Proces Wine Bar

25a Palmotićeva, Beograd, Serbia

Just over the road from Organski Podrum is a little natural wine bar with lots of shareable bites. Far more of a fun weekend destination for a youthful hang, as they offer regular DJ sets in the evenings. There's a decent Russian community presence as the owners are from Russia, so you will probably hear a bit less of the Serbian that you might be searching for. @proces.winebar

Tri šešira

Tri šešira

29 Skadarska, Beograd, 11000, Serbia

Located in the heart of the bohemian quarter Skadarlija, this historic restaurant is popular with locals and tourists alike. Sit outside, people watch, enjoy the music and meat plates. @tri_sesira

Bela Reka Nacionalni Restoran

Bela Reka Nacionalni Restoran

179 Tošin bunar, Beograd, 11070, Serbia

We first visited this place with amazing friends from Trening Centar. A farm-to-table restaurant with all products made in Serbia, from wine and rakija to cheese and meat. Beautiful food - eat as much as you can, try all the desserts. We try to go every time we are in town. @restoran.bela.reka

PINÒT

PINÒT

65 West, Novi Beograd, 11070, Serbia

This Michelin-worthy restaurant in Novi Beograd does not mess around. Throw on your Sunday best, put those pinkies UP and get ready to be dazzled by their wine list. We love the fact that they offer both precious seasonal bites and comfort food to fill hungry tummies. The menu changes often and is based around what is in season. @pinot_belgrade

Plavinci Winery

Plavinci Winery

151 Prilaz, Zaklopača, 11352, Serbia

A charming winery, a mere 30-40 minute drive from the city center. We will try to arrange a group trip during the weekend if we have enough interest. Take in the view of the Danube on a peaceful hillside vineyard. Spend a sunny afternoon drinking fantastic wines on a large balcony with a few cats and dogs wandering around. @vinarija.plavinci
