Standin' on the corner park
Visit the famous "Corner" in historic, downtown Winslow, Arizona! A great place for photo ops! Shopping and dining options are located within walking distance.
The Root Beer Stand
Another famous (but tasty) corner! This "Groom's Favorite" is a wonderful place for chili cheese fries, taco tangles, schoolburgers and amazing rootbeer! Stop by for a treat and enjoy a bit of nostalgia while you're at it!
Old Trails Museum
Located in the heart of Winslow’s historic district, the Old Trails Museum is an outstanding source of discovery for Winslow’s unique and interesting history. A 100+ year old single-screen theater located at the heart of Winslow. This theater holds a special place for the bride and the groom. A great idea for an affordable "date night" while you're in Winslow.
McHood Park & Clear Creek
Enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities at Clear Creek Reservoir. Activities that include swimming, fishing, hiking and picnicking. With a canoe, (rentals available) one can follow the creek along Clear Creek Canyon, a magnificent deep rock waterway. This place is one of Northern Arizona’s best-kept secrets that has been enjoyed by locals for over one hundred years. Its existence and beauty are becoming more known and popular for sure. If you’re looking for an amazing place to stop, relax and cool down, this is the spot.

Homolovi State Park
Located 3 miles northeast of downtown Winslow this park will give you insight into the cultural perspective and history of the Hopi Tribe. Tour the ancient ruins of pueblos that were built by the ancestors of the Hopi people from between approximately 1260 – 1400 AD. Marvel at the colorful pottery and shards on display and ponder the meanings of ancient petroglyphs. Park facilities include a Visitor Center/Museum, various hiking trails, and RV- camping facilities.
Meteor Crater Natural Landmark
More than just a giant hole in the ground! Near Winslow, Arizona. Experience the impact! The best preserved meteor impact site on earth. Complete with museum, theater, gift shop and country store. (P.S. The Bride loves all things outer-space.)
Petrified Forest National Park
Petrified Forest is best known for its Triassic fossils. It's like having two parks in one, an ecosystem over 200 million years old with plants and animals now represented in the surreal landscape of the Painted Desert. There is also a living park with its own denizens adapted to a demanding environment.
Romo‘s Mexican Grill
One of the favorite food places in town that the Bride and Groom enjoy. Enjoy a delicious chili cheeseburger, refreshing drinks and tacos on the tarmac! Located at the historic Winslow Airport, it's a super-chill place with a great atmosphere. Tell the owner Marc that Mr. Peas and Mrs. Carrots say hello! (That's an inside joke you can ask us about.)
