Laurel Grove has a north and south cemetery separated by a freeway. Both are interesting in their own right. At the North Cemetery you can find the tombstone of Juliette Gordon-Low, founder of the Girl Scouts as well as a civil war section. Laurel Grove South is the historically black cemetery. Both are a suitable, and historically relevant alternatives to the well known, Bonaventure.

We like to go the back river; where the ocean meets the Tybee Creek. Otherwise, you can check out the lighthouse side or any of the numbered streets. For food, try Sea Wolf or Salt Island
