What is the weather like in Ventura in August?

Ventura is known for its mild, coastal climate—think sunshine without the sweltering heat! Unlike a typical Midwest or Southern summer, it stays comfortably warm, with daytime temperatures averaging between 65–70°F and a refreshing ocean breeze. We recommend packing a bathing suit for the beach or comfortable shoes if you'd like to explore one of the many scenic hiking trails during the day. Evenings can cool off quickly—especially after 4 PM—so be sure to bring a jacket, sweater, and a pair of jeans. For the night of the wedding, a light sweater or wrap will help keep you cozy once the sun sets.
