Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) 📍 Approximately 35–40 minutes from Cherokee Valley GSP is the closest airport and offers nonstop flights from many major U.S. cities. It's easy to navigate, has several rental car companies on-site, and is the most convenient option for wedding guests.

Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) 📍 Approximately 1 hour from Cherokee Valley AVL is another great option if flight schedules or prices work better for your travel plans.

🚗 Transportation
We highly recommend renting a car if you're flying into South Carolina. While Uber and Lyft are available in the Greenville area, rideshare service can be limited near Cherokee Valley and mountain destinations—especially later in the evening. Having a rental car will make it much easier to explore Travelers Rest, Greenville, hiking trails, wineries, and local attractions throughout your stay.

🚌 Wedding Shuttle
To make transportation easier on the wedding day, a complimentary shuttle will be available for guests. Shuttle Route Cherokee Valley Club ⬇ Pretty Place Chapel ⬇ Cherokee Valley Club The shuttle will transport guests to the ceremony before it begins and return everyone to Cherokee Valley immediately afterward. Please note that shuttle service is available only between the ceremony and reception venues and does not provide transportation to hotels or vacation rentals.

If you're able to arrive on Friday, we highly recommend spending the afternoon exploring Travelers Rest before the wedding weekend begins. Enjoy a coffee downtown, browse the local shops, take a walk along the Swamp Rabbit Trail, or have dinner overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. It's one of our favorite places, and we hope you'll love it as much as we do!
