Thirteen years together—and Mike & Justin finally decided they will be tying the knot in one of their most favorite places on earth: Kennebunkport, Maine. Mike's family has called this place home for centuries (yes, Justin fact-checked Mike's grandmother - she was right), and Justin's family has been making the 8-hour trek from Rochester, NY to this ‘little slice of heaven’ since the 70s. Needless to say, Maine holds a special place in both Mike & Justin's heart. When they met many moons ago, at a tavern in Somerville, Massachusetts, Maine provided an instant connection - a shared memory and love of spending summers up in the Port, exploring tidal pools for lobsters & starfish, scarfing down salt water taffy and homemade fudge, braving the bone-chilling ocean, and living life "the way life should be". From that first date, they have grown together across different cities, jobs, life ups & downs, apartments, travels, and adventures. Their love deepened, stretched, and blossomed into something neither of them expected, but both cherish so greatly. Thirteen years in, on December 6, 2024, they decided they were ready for their next adventure - tying the knot - and they proposed to each other. It may sound like a long time coming to many, but to them, it's just the right time. The right time to become each other's husband, the right time to share their love with all of you, and the right time to boogie all night long!
