Where do I park at the church?

Answer

Please park along Barton, on the south side of the church. Yes, the spots are labeled permit only, but if attending service, you can park there, and there should be plenty of spots. Please DO NOT park on S. County Rd. If note, IF the cops turn Barton into a one way for the ceremony, you can park on both sides of the street. If not, please only park in designated spaces.

Aren't y'all already married?

Answer

Yes. We had a courtroom wedding on September 20th, 2018. But like most couples we've always dreamed of a big church wedding, sharing in our joy with our family and friends with all the bells and whistles. So on the anniversary of the day we met we decided to have our big day. Who from our generation would've thought gay marriage would be legal, let alone for gays to be able to get married in a church!? We're so happy, and we're blessed we have this opportunity to have our civil union blessed and witnessed by those we love

Should I RSVP for each individual event?

Answer

Yes, please RSVP for each separate event. And please be sure to click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the RSVP page.

Why are most gifts in the registry "group contribution gifts?"

Answer

We felt that since most of what we wanted was travel related, and that can be expensive, it was too much to ask of any one person/couple/family to fund an entire trip. So we made all gifts over $100 group contribution. Of note, the website doesn't let us know the amount you contribute. It just tells us you contributed. Any contributions, no matter how small, are greatly appreciated. As you all know from our Facebook posts, we love to travel.

Which airport should we fly into?

Answer

Palm Beach International airport (PBI) is literally 5 mins from our house. (We've actually walked there before.) You can also fly into Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood (45 mins away with good traffic) or Miami (1.5 his away with good traffic). Be aware, though, that depending on the time of day, especially with all the construction, your time traveling here from Ft. Lauderdale or Miami could double -- YES, DOUBLE. So please plan accordingly.

Should we participate in all pre/post wedding events?

Answer

The only events that are a "must" (the one's we definitely want you at) are those the day of the wedding (wedding, reception, after party). We'd be happy to see you at all other events, but they're not necessary. We simply scheduled them to let you know where/when we'll be so you all can hang out with us if you're in town and would like to do so. Please check the "Things to Do" tab of our website for other recommendations of stuff to do.

May we "visit" the area before or after the wedding?

Answer

Of course! West Palm Beach and South Florida are beautiful. Make a family/summer vacation out of it. Michael and Joe would love your company. Our wedding planners are AWESOME, so we don't foresee any last-minute plans or emergent changes. Please be aware, however, we will be unable to accommodate any guests at our house, so you will need to make your own lodging arrangements if you're traveling from out of area. Also, please note our already-scheduled itinerary for the weekend of the wedding and our honeymoon dates.

What expenses are "covered" by the wedding?

Answer

You won't need to spend any money at the wedding or reception. However, all other pre/post wedding events will be at the attendee's expense, as well as travel and lodging.
