It's Finally Here -- Our Dream Wedding!!!

A soul-searching trip... A newly grieving widow... A random parking lot... Just one look! Both Michael and Joseph are widowed. Michael's husband Petey had passed away nearly four years ago (at the time Michael and Joseph met), and Michael was on a soul-searching trip. While en route to Savannah, GA, Michael stopped in Augusta, GA, where Joseph lived at the time. The morning of July 8th, 2018, Michael was running late to check out, and after receiving a call to check out as soon as possible or be charged another day, Michael rushed to pack up his car and head to the front desk. It was immediately after checking out and while arranging his items for travel in the car that Joseph walked through the parking lot. At 11:59 a.m., they made eyes at each other and gave each other the proverbial head nod of hello when something (likely a nudge from Chuck -- Joseph's deceased husband) told him, an introvert who doesn't like to initiate conversations with strangers, to walk up to Michael and say hello. By 12:00 p.m., they had their first kiss. LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! YES! It really does exist! Fast forward past the many 'coincidences' in Michael's and Joseph's families and lives, past discussions of the logistics of combining households, and past meeting each others' families and friends, and Joseph moved to West Palm Beach, FL, to live with Michael. Michael proposed to Joseph on the beach at The Breakers on Palm Beach on August 8th, 2018 -- one month after they met (foreshadowing a wedding next door). They had a beautiful courtroom ceremony on September 20th, 2018, and they soon began planning their dream wedding to share their joy with their family and friends. All the while, Michael and Joseph have seen and felt Chuck's and Petey's blessing. So Michael and Joseph therefore celebrate Chuck's and Petey's hand in Michael's and Joseph's marriage by honoring them with a daily, never-ending, remembrance, as they are always with Michael and Joseph and forever loved.
