Jin was a third-year law student and on moot court. Mike was a first-year law student and trying out for moot court. It was common for moot court students, like Jin, to host practices with first-year law students who are trying out for the moot court team. Mike signed up for Jin's practice, unbeknownst to him and his partner that Jin was a tough cookie. They left Jin's practice crying. And yet, Mike still had the courage to ask Jin on a date.
