Our travel agency is assisting with room bookings but you will book your own flights. DOUBLE CHECK THAT YOUR PASSPORT IS VALID AND NOT EXPIRING WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF TRAVEL! As guests will be arriving from various locations, it’s hard for us to recommend specific flights or airlines, though it appears a popular time for flights to arrive on Saturday (2/1) is between 12:00 and 3:00 pm. We encourage you to arrive around this time as it will help us in coordinating transportation from the airport to the resort. For those flying out of the Boston and New York areas, JetBlue offers the following direct flights. Please note these are the only local direct flight options, but there are many other options available with 1+ connections. From Boston: Flight B6 897 – Departs 8:10 am; Arrives 1:02 pm (note: prices for this flight are currently high but we expect they will drop at some point over the next several months) From JFK: Flight B6 1691 – Departs 7:15 am; Arrives 11:42 am AS NOTED UNDER THE ‘AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION’ SECTION, PLEASE SEND US YOUR FLIGHT DETAILS ONCE YOU BOOK TO HELP US COORDINATE GROUP TRANSPORT FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE RESORT. If you’re looking for ways to potentially save money, we recommend taking advantage of the sign-up bonuses for airline specific credit cards. See which airlines look promising based on where you’re flying out of and look into offers with their credit cards. Depending on the airline and the price at time of booking, the mile bonuses could pay for 1 or 2 round trip tickets. Please see the FAQ section for some of our airline credit card recommendations! Pro tip: Use your new card to book your room as a way to help satisfy the initial spend requirement and earn the mile bonus. For extra savings, encourage your significant other to sign up for the card as well!

Shuttle

Airport Transfer to Resort

The resort is approximately 1.5 hours from the airport. While you are welcome to rent a car for your trip (could be beneficial if you plan to do a lot of exploring and there is free parking at the resort), we will be arranging shuttles for Saturday arrivals and Thursday departures. In order to help us coordinate and optimize groupings for the shuttles, please send us your flight info as soon as you book. While we will be covering the shuttle cost, we encourage you to bring some extra cash to tip your driver. For any non-Saturday arrivals or non-Thursday departures, you will need to coordinate your own transportation to/from the resort. If this is the case then please don't hesitate to reach out and we will be happy to help you find the shuttle service that works best for your needs based on the options we've found. *Note: Please disregard the shuttle start time noted above... the website makes us put something. Dreams Las Mareas Costa Rica

Dreams Las Mareas is a family friendly, all inclusive resort in beautiful Costa Rica! Our room block is Saturday February 1st - Thursday February 6th. You can stay any portion of that you'd like but there is a 3 night minimum. Our wedding is on a Tuesday and since February weather/travel can be unpredictable, we recommend arriving no later than Sunday. There are different style rooms in our room block and they are available on a first come, first serve basis so we recommend submitting your deposit as soon as possible. THE DEADLINE TO PAY THE REMAINING BALANCE AND FINALIZE YOUR BOOKING IS AUGUST 4TH. After that date, cancellations are nonrefundable unless you get the travel insurance.
