*Note on swimming: the North Shore of Oahu has high/strong surf conditions during winter (including the world-renowned surf break Pipeline). Please observe lifeguard signage/safety advisories and avoid dangerous swimming conditions. For easy swimming, head to the east side of the island (there are many quiet and uncrowded beaches to discover along Kamehameha Highway driving east from Lāi'e Point), or the south shore.
