If you're looking for a long beach stroll, keep reading! Stretching from Hauoli Street at Haycraft Park for 2.5 miles down to North Kihei, this beach is gorgeous and without any buildings on the beach. Locals say this is one of the best beaches in South Maui to stroll on.
This beach is ranked with the highest review, per the famous travel guide book, Maui Revealed. Kama'ole Beach is broken into three parts: I, II, and III. Kama'ole I is the largest and best of the three - it offers a long, beautiful, stretch of fine sand, great swimming, rest rooms, showers, and a lifeguard. Excellent snorkeling can be found around the rocks at each end, especially the north (right) end (also called Charley Young Beach).

Likely the least known and certainly least used large beach in the area. The beach has multiple names: Paipu Beach, Pepeiaolepo Beach, Love Beach, Keauhou Beach, and Makena Surf Beach. This beach receives high ratings because it is usually much less crowded than other beaches in South Maui. Snorkeling here is exceptional, in fact, snorkeling tours usually visit the coral reefs here. In addition, there are frequent turtle sightings here!
This is a relatively small aquarium compared to others in Hawaii, however, it is extremely well-done. The living reef exhibit has a great collection of fish found around the Hawaiian islands. Also, the turtle lagoon has turtles roaming around for guests to view.
