Grace grew up going to St. Simons and Sea Island with her family to visit her grandparents. St. Simons Island holds many special memories for Grace and her family. We're excited to make new memories with you all next Spring.
For the Welcome Party, dress is resort casual. For the ceremony and reception, bring your best Springy beach wedding cocktail attire! All the events will be outdoor weather-permitting. Keep an eye on the weather forecast - it can be very warm during April in GA, but there will be a seabreeze. A note from Michael: Gentlemen, I know we have no idea what this means. I'll be wearing khakis and a polo during the rehearsal dinner and then a suit for the wedding. Dress up or down as you feel comfortable.
Yes! Please RSVP on our website as soon as you know if you can make it. If you have any issues RSVPing please email Grace (graceconnolly14@gmail.com).
Traveling solo or just looking to cut lodging costs? Please reach out to graceconnolly14@gmail.com, and we will try to connect people who we think will be a good fit to split lodging for the weekend.
As much as we'd love to celebrate with as many people as we can, the venues have capacity constraints that we're forced to adhere to. We're already pushing these limits and can't accommodate anyone not on our guest list.
The Rehearsal Dinner at Village Creek Landing is a 15 minute drive down Frederica Road from The King and Prince. We recommend driving to the venue as rideshare options on the island are limited. If you wish to be connected with someone driving, please do not hesitate to reach out to graceconnolly14@gmail.com. The Ceremony and Reception will both be onsite at the King and Prince.
There is a section in the RSVPs to add any dietary restrictions. Michael is gluten free so we will definitely have that covered!! We are having barbecue (with all the sides) catered for the rehearsal dinner. The reception dinner entree will be a fish/beef duo. There will also be a vegetarian option for those who need it.
We tried to add as much information here as possible. If you still have unanswered questions, chances are someone else is asking the same question. Please reach out to Grace or Michael, and we can update the FAQs or resolve any confusion!
