Flight
There are three major airports close to San Miguel. - Queretaro Airport (QRO) in Queretaro, MX - Del Bajio Airport (BJX) in Leon, Guanajuato, MX - Benito Juarez Intl Airport (MEX) in Mexico City, MX QRO & BJX are both about an hour and 30 minutes from San Miguel. The drive from Leon is mainly on the highway but does take you through a bit of the countryside as well, and the drive from Queretaro is on a 4 lane highway. MEX is about three and a half hours from San Miguel on a toll road. This could be a great option if you'd like to visit Mexico City pre or post-wedding. For Bay Area Guests: Volaris has direct flights from San Jose (SJC) and Oakland (OAK) to Leon (BJX)
