I'm sure you're wondering how we chose San Miguel de Allende as the location for our wedding. The story starts with Michael's Nana, Pam. Pam decided to move to San Miguel after being told by her hairdresser that it was “the place for her to be”. So in 2011, she made San Miguel her home, officially putting it on the map for future Collari family trips. Nana unfortunately passed away in 2014 after living in San Miguel for 3 years. The Collari’s took a family trip back to San Miguel in 2022 and immediately understood that this was the place to be! Fast forward to the end of 2025. We had a trip booked to kickoff the new year and decided San Miguel would be a new, fun place for us to visit (Michael knew it would be a perfect place to propose). We stayed at Casa Cien (where our reception will be held). On our second day there, Michael got down on one knee and proposed! We spent the rest of the trip exploring everything San Miguel has to offer. Eating yummy food, taking a cooking class, going to art galleries, shopping and taking in all the magic of the city! San Miguel has an incredibly special place in our hearts and we are so excited to share this with you. For those coming for the first time, you are in for a treat!
