The Wedding Website of Emilee O'Neill and Michael Meiners
If this doesn't cover it, please shoot us an email at meinerswedding2019@gmail.com and if it's more than a week before the wedding, we'll be sure to help you out. Any and all last minute questions should be directed to one of our Moms: Maggie Sinanan or Susann Meiners
Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation has their name on it or "and Guest" then yes. If not, unfortunately due to budget and capacity, you're going to have to fly solo. But don't fret, we have great friends and family and you'll have a blast with them!

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

We are requesting that everyone dress formally (black tie optional,). Guys, no shorts, jeans, khakis or sneakers. Suits or tuxes only, please. Ladies, tea/floor length dresses or a nice pant suit is fine if dresses aren't your thing. *Side Note* I feel like I shouldn't even have to say this but please, no white/ivory dresses (and that includes white/ivory floral dresses. Also, the bridesmaids will be in burgundy, so probably avoid that too ;)

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your kids, really we do, but please find a sitter for the night so you can fully enjoy yourself! We are asking that no one under the age of 18 attend.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

If you book within the room block we've arranged, there will be a shuttle service provided to and from the venue. We would like everyone to get home safely, so please, please take advantage of the shuttle if you're staying at the Holiday Inn of Manahawkin.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ideally, outdoors (weather permitting). It will take place on a cement area. The cocktail hour will be both indoor and outdoor, and the reception will be indoors.

Question

Can I take pictures/video during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you do not. We've hired some amazing photographers to take care of that so we would prefer that you keep your phone/camera away until after the "I do's". We want everyone to be fully present during this time. Once the party starts, feel free to take as many pictures as you want! #MakingHerMeiners

Question

Is there any open bar?

Answer

Yes, as well as multiple photographers so, use your best judgement. Remember, pictures and video are forever.

Question

I have a food allergy/specific diet, can I make a special request?

Answer

YES! We don't need anyone going to the hospital. Please let us know in advance so we can inform the venue. There is a note section for dietary restrictions on the RSVP page.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yup! We've reserved room blocks at Holiday Inn of Manahawkin. Just mention the O'Neill Meiners wedding or use code OMW and you'll get special rates and guarantee yourself a welcome bag (score!)

Question

When should I book my hotel room?

Answer

The sooner the better! October/November is peak wedding season and we don't want anyone to get stuck without a room. Rooms are to be booked by October 1st, for the discounted rate. If you can't get a spot at one of the hotels we suggest, we cannot guarantee transportation for you.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We have a small registry set up with Bed Bath & Beyond and Zola (all can be found under the Registry tab) however we've lived together for several years and don't need a ton of stuff. If you'd like to do something special for us, we'd really love a contribution towards our honeymoon fund! We have a fund set up here under the Registry tab or a check (please write them out to Michael Meiners) is totally fine (avoid those added fees!). We'll be sure to share the amazing experiences we'll have because of your contribution!
