Flight

Malaga Airport

There are many flight times and dates available into Malaga airport (AGP), so please book whatever is most suitable for you. The Bride and Groom will be in Spain from Sunday 10th September 2023. There is a train station located at the airport and this will take you towards Fuengirola or Malaga Central. If you are arriving at a more unsociable time, a shuttle bus or taxi can be pre-booked. Alternatively, taxis are available directly from the airport.

Train

C1 Line Centro Alameda - Málaga - Fuengirola

Super convenient for many destinations along the coast. The trains run 3 times every hour in each direction. They are clean, spacious, airconditioned and also very reasonably priced! Airport - Malaga Central (€2.30 single) Airport - Torreblanca (€2.55 single) Torreblanca - Malaga Central (€3.20 single / €5.90 return) Prices will vary very slightly depending on what zones you travel between, but if you travel within one zone it'll cost you €2.30 single / €4.10 return no matter how many stops your journey involves. You also have the option to re-use your Renfe&Tu card (train ticket) which will save you €0.50 each trip.

Rental Car

Taxis / Uber

Blue Plate Cabs are an airport taxi company who will also be available to transport our guests from their accommodation to the wedding venue. They have larger cars available for bigger parties and have a 24 hour service. Please contact them directly on +34 679 216 671 and quote the Dawson Wedding Party! Alternatively, Uber is available for those familiar with the app.

Travel Note

Wedding Day Travel

Depending on what is more convenient for you, there is the option of getting a taxi straight to the venue or you can use the train to take you the majority of the way. For the train option, take the train to Malaga Central (€3.20 single). Exit at the end of the platform and carry straight on to the exit in front of you. The escalators will lead you outside. Head towards El Corte Inglés shopping centre and there will be a large taxi rank outside. Taxis from here will take you straight to the venue (approx 10-15 minute ride) which will cost approximately €8-€10 on the meter.

House Or Rental

Torreblanca

Most guests are staying in or close to Torreblanca, Fuengirola. There are many hotel or holiday rental options (booking.com, Airbnb etc.) all walking distance from Torreblanca train station. Alternatively, any stops along the costal train line (between Malaga and Fuengirola) would be ideal for your stay so pick a location perfect for you!
