Samma Wennerlind

Maid of Honor

Samma is my little sister and my very best friend. We have gotten along remarkably well since the day she was born. When I was 2 years old, I gave her the nickname "Samma" after not being able to say "Sammy”. She still gets annoyed when I hug her so hard, she falls down but, she misses my hugs when we spend more than a couple of days apart. Despite going to rival universities, we chose to live together after I moved back to Seattle from California which brought us even closer. We still get together to drink wine and watch Ink Master on Michael's Amazon Prime account on a regular basis. She is without a doubt my favorite sibling.

Nate Bannick

Best Man

Nate and I met in kindergarten at St Louise, and while we were in rival kindergarten classes, we quickly became friends. From there we ran track, cross country, and played baseball for St Louise. We continued our schooling and friendship together at Seattle Prep. Since that clearly wasn't enough time spent together, we both went to the University of Washington and joined the Beta fraternity, lived in the same live out senior year, and lived together for a year after college. While Tara now gets the privilege of living with Nate, they wisely decided to live just down the street from Corissa and me in Eastlake. We meet up for boat trips to Ivar's, wine nights, and Husky football games, among other activities.

Krista Bennett

Bridesmaid

Krista and I met in the Delta Zeta sorority and became so close that we adopted a combined name of "Corista" used commonly, by accident, by other girls in the house. Krista introduced me to Michael when he came over to study for their engineering classes. Krista was not that surprised when we ended up dating and even guessed the outfit that he wore to our first date when she and I lived in at Pi Kapps over a summer. Krista met her now husband, Bryce, at the same frat house that summer. I like to think that I contributed to getting the two of them to figure out that they were meant to be together but, they obviously didn’t need my help. Since then, we have been on countless trips and double dates and, proudly celebrated their wedding this past summer.

Reid Weber

Groomsman

We met in high school through mutual friends, but our friendship didn't grow strong until college in the Beta fraternity. We enjoyed Husky football games, trips to the Couve, and lots of late night N64 sessions. We lived together senior year in college and for 5 years at the Green Lake Inn after college (with a slew of rotating 3rd roommates). Each summer in Green Lake was filled with park games and floating in the lake while in the fall we hosted more Husky and Seahawk away game viewing parties to count. We still get together regularly for board game nights and brewery hopping in Ballard.

Chelsea Richardson

Bridesmaid

Chelsea and I became good friends and bonded over our love for dance while working on our Doctorates in Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California. Despite the stress and long hours of grad school, Chelsea always kept things fun. We kept our sanity by planning wine nights and weekend trips throughout school with the rest of the “Woo Girls”. We have continued to visit each other and regularly talk on the phone despite living in different states now.

Stephen Coyle

Groomsman

Stephen and I met at St Louise and played together on a number of soccer and basketball teams. While we didn't go to high school together we were re-united at UW. You will most likely find us outdoors on the tennis court, Northway at Crystal Mountain (even when Stephen wasn't quite ready for it), or on a bike ride which requires a beer stop along the way. And on a rare occasion, Steve convinces me to walk around on some nicely mowed grass... I mean play golf.

Sydney McMurtry

Bridesmaid

Sydney and I have been friends for more than 20 years! We met in the Dance Chance at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School and were regular partners from the corner. We went to the same middle school, high school and college and made many music videos during that time. We have stayed close and always have a good time together, although I am glad that we don't film ourselves lip syncing anymore. Sydney even contributed to helping me learn how to ski in Sun Valley when she lived there and I'm so grateful that she is always up for trying something new.

David Bannick

Groomsman

See Nate Bannick. Only kidding, but being best friends with twins growing up results in a similar story. After conquering St Louise and Seattle Prep we roomed together sophomore year in college. Now we hang out at Husky tailgates and viewing parties rocking our matching #88 ASJ jerseys. If I ever need to know a stat on Husky football, whether it is from the most recent game or the 1991 championship team, David always knows the answer.

Danielle Buckley

Bridesmaid

Danielle is my future sister-in-law, but she has always treated me like family since the moment I met her 8+ years ago. We sit by each other to root for the Huskies football team all season and even share a bunk bed on the family trips to Sun Valley. I'm always happy when Danielle is at the family events because she always knows how to have a good time and makes my family and me feel like we have known each other forever!

Chad Brady

Groomsman

We met roaming the halls of Seattle Prep early on during our freshman year and quickly became friends with the rest of our Eastside living Seattle Prep crew. Chad always brings the humor into conversations with his Steve Erwin-esque accent that comes out during what seems like any topic. Chad lived two houses down 45th during the first 3 years of college and decided that was too far away. Senior year, Chad and his Theta Chi friends peacefully joined forces with a group of Betas at a live out, and our friendship strengthened over games of NFL Blitz and Super Smash Bros. Chad is finishing up dental school down in Arizona which has been a great excuse to travel down there when it hasn't hit 60 degrees in months in Seattle. Now, I just need to ensure he moves back to Seattle after graduating.

Allie Goodman

Bridesmaid

Allie and I have been friends since taking biology classes together at UW while also living together in the Delta Zeta sorority. We have gone on multiple trips together and love trying new restaurants and dancing around on her roof to Disney tunes. We got engaged within weeks of each other and will get married within weeks of each other this year! It's been fun planning our weddings together and sharing ideas for the many celebrations to come. I always appreciate a classic "Goodman joke" to lighten the mood and we will definitely still need to call them that, even after her last name changes.

Nick Miller

Groomsman

Nick and I met during our freshman year of college in the Beta Fraternity. We played intramural football and softball together, including winning a softball championship. After college, we briefly lived together in Green Lake where Nick instantly became the biggest park volleyball proponent ever. Nick is one of the leaders of our board game group and is always finding the next best game to play. Nick and his fiancee Nicole are one of our engagement buddies and conversations often turn to wedding planning (the good and the bad) during our date nights and Husky tailgates.
