This is one of our personal favorite restaurants. Reservations will be necessary ... book early!
Dorothy’s serves raw fresh seafood and another coastal cuisine alongside many dishes inspired by travels to Southeast Asia. Dorothy’s has a large focus on craft cocktails, both original and classics, and small plates perfect for sharing! Reservations needed.
Tramici means “among friends.” Guests enjoy Italian-inspired cuisine in our energetic, warm, and inviting dining room, beneath the twinkly lights and shaded awnings of our deck and patio, or at our open bar
Crabdaddy's is a staple restaurant in SSI. It's great for larger parties as well. Call ahead and make reservations as wait times can get a bit long!
This is a great spot for a casual dinner or appetizers and cocktails. Being the only brewery on the island, it's a must for beer lovers!
This is one of our favorite date spots while on the island. Their specialty is Argentinian and Italian and boy do they do it well. Reservations are recommended, but it is typically fairly easy to get in.
What we like best about this restaurant is the view! Waterfront dining of locally caught seafood and steaks. Reservations recommended.
Great atmosphere overlooking the marsh. This is a favorite spot of the locals and features something for everyone. Their homemade key lime pie is worth a try .. and is plenty to share! Reservations are not accepted so be prepared to wait (cornhole, fire pit, and bar area helps pass the wait time by just fine).
We like kayaking the Marshes of Glynn. There is a 2 hour trip that leaves from Village Creek Landing that is very nice … beautiful scenery, easy trip and doesn’t take up your whole day. Trip times are based on the tide so call in advance to arrange your guided trip.
The first church structure was built in 1820 but was partially destroyed by Union troops during the Civil War. Christ Church is constructed of wood in the cruciform design with a trussed Gothic roof and steeple. The grounds contain a cemetery with graves of early settlers and many famous Georgians. One famous Georgia author, Eugenia Price, who wrote many novels including a series on St. Simons is buried here along with Lucien Knight, the first state historian of Georgia. A little known fact is that the cemetery’s oldest tombstone is from 1803. Today, the beautiful church and its magnificent stained glass windows are home to an active Episcopal congregation on St. Simons. Christ Church is one of St. Simons Island’s most treasured landmarks. Don’t forget to bring your camera. Christ Church, Frederica is one of the most photographed locations on St. Simons Island and some say, in America.
Our new favorite spot for espresso martinis! The bar is very laid back and casual … an easy place to grab a drink before or after dinner. The side of the restaurant opposite the bar serves a good breakfast daily as well.
