We are serving heavy hor d'oeuvres at the reception, so think of it as a "cocktail hour" at the Smithfield Inn. We wanted it to keep it casual without assigned seating or tables, so we decided not to do a sit down meal. There will be plenty of food but with the wedding in the evening, the food at the reception will not be served until probably 7:00 p.m. or later.
You may arrive early in downtown Smithfield and want to get yourself a bite to eat or a drink. There are a few options, to include a newly opened British Pub that just opened on the corner directly across the street from the Mansion!
