Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is black-tie preferred. Guests are encouraged to wear formal attire such as a floor length dresses and suits or tuxedos. Our wedding party will be dressed in black tie attire so we would love for our guests to therefore reflect this level of formality. Please no jeans, sneakers, or Hawaiian print shirts.

Question

Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the Bride for all of the wedding events: whites, ivories, and creams.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are children welcomed to the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

We love and adore all of your little ones, and we are sad to say that due to limited space, we have decided to make this an adults only event. With that said, we know that it is a long way to travel and we want our guests to enjoy their time on the island making it a vacation. So, if you decide to bring your kids along please know that they are welcome to join us Thursday evening for the welcome cocktail party. The resort does not offer childcare, but has provided a recommended company should you need child care. See the link below. https://www.thenannyconnection.com/

Question

What time do the busses arrive to take us to the ceremony at the church and where do I go?

Answer

The busses will arrive at 1 PM so we suggest being ready and at the pick-up spot around this time. The pick-up spot will be at the South Valet Entrance of the resort.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 2:00 PM, so we recommend arriving at 1:30 PM.

Question

What time does the reception start?

Answer

The reception starts at 4:00 PM on the Chapel Lawn at the Grand Wailea located just North of the Hibiscus Pool (the adult pool) on the oceanside of the Chapel.

Question

What does parking cost at the resort?

Answer

For guests staying at the resort, parking is discounted to $10.00 per vehicle per day during your stay.

Question

Where do I park the day of the wedding if I am staying off site?

Answer

If you are not staying at the Grand Wailea, we suggest using Uber or Lyft to and from the resort so you do not have to deal with parking; however, if you are driving yourself, please use the valet parking at the main hotel entrance as it will be offered at $20 for all wedding day guests.

For all the days along the way
