FAQs

The Wedding Website of Carrie Leibensperger and Mike Roche
Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with all of our favorite people! Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. If your invitation says ‘and guest,’ a plus one has been reserved for you. Thanks so much for understanding!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We want you to be able to kick back, relax, and celebrate with us, which is why we have decided to have an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements to leave the kids at the home.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We have registered for a few items to help us kickstart our life together! Please head to the "Registry" tab of the website for more details.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail and garden party attire. We recommend mid-to-long length dresses for women and a suit with tie for men. Think slightly more casual than formal wear. We know you'll all look amazing!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have reserved hotel room blocks for our guests at the Westin River North, the Godfrey Hotel, and the Crowne Plaza West Loop. We are getting married during Memorial Day weekend in downtown Chicago. We encourage our guests to book ahead within our room blocks to ensure you have a place to stay. Please head to our "Travel" page for more details.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan on arriving at 5:00 pm to give yourself time to find a seat before the ceremony begins at 5:30pm.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Valet is onsite for $20/car for those who prefer to drive. However, we recommend Uber/Lyft for safety and ease.

Question

What if I had to select a meal option I can't eat?

Answer

For those with special dietary restrictions, we will ensure a meal is provided for you. Trust us, we would never let anyone go hungry!

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We have chosen to have an Unplugged Ceremony. We hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and ask that you do not use your cell phones during the ceremony. You are more than welcome to take photos and videos of the rest of the night!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Obviously. Can't believe you even wondered.
