Friends of James River Park System
The Friends of the James River Park provide ongoing support for conservation, enhancement, and recreational enjoyment of the James River Park, while protecting its natural and historic environments. The park system is a 600-acre urban oasis that features rocks, rapids, meadows, forests, and an abundance of plant and animal life. It is a pristine bit of wilderness in the heart of Richmond.
