Darrell K Royal Texas Memorial Stadium
While there is unfortunately not a home football game the weekend of our wedding, this is where we spent most of our Saturdays in the fall. If you get a chance, check out the stadium and UT campus! Hook 'Em!
University Co-op
Grab yourself some burnt orange from the Co-Op to bring home then head across the street and see the famous UT Tower!
Texas Winos
Book a trip to wine country (Fredericksburg) for the day. Pick up and drop off in Austin- you don't even have to worry about driving! This is one of many options for tours to the Texas Wine Country. We've used this group before and had a great time. Feel free to ask us for other similar recommendations if this doesn't offer exactly what you are looking for.
Lake Travis Zipline Adventures
Zipline over Lake Travis- it's fun and the views are amazing!
Butler Pitch & Putt
Another Austin original- nine par-3 holes in the heart of Austin; great for golfers and non-golfers alike. The perfect afternoon spot to take a few swings then enjoy a few brews! :)
Peter Pan Mini-Golf
Putt putt and BYOB! It's an Austin original that's fun for all- highly recommend!
The Continental Club
End the evening here on the famous South Congress strip rocking out to some funky blues!
Rainey Street
Old houses converted into bars, all with tons of outdoor seating and games- many of our Saturday nights were spent down here. Enjoy some drinks and end the night at the end of the street at the food truck round up!
The Roosevelt Room
Hands down, the best cocktails we've ever had. Perfect spot to start the night or celebrate a special occassion!
The Little Longhorn Saloon
A good ol' Texas dive bar. Live music and two-stepping are abundant here and you can even come watch & play chicken shit BINGO on Sundays!

Best tacos and our favorite margarita live here!

Jester King - Brewery, Kitchen, & Farm
Our favorite brewery to spend a day at- enjoy the outdoors, great beer, and delicious wood fired pizzas! (And there are farm tours to go visit all of the goats!)

Great outdoor area for the whole family. Enjoy lunch or dinner and good brews!
JuiceLand
Grab a smoothie or juice from here and you won't regret it. The Perculator is our personal favorite.
Jo's Coffee
Find the famous "I love you so much" graffiti wall here and snap a pic for Instagram! (Also- great coffee!)
Salty Sow
A perfect upscale dinner spot, but not outrageously priced. Food is delicious- get the duck fat fries!
Haymaker
An awesome sports bar close to campus- good food and great drinks! Enjoy the spacious outdoor patio too!
