Yes- we know you love your kids and this is a big trip to Texas for many of you. You are welcome to bring your children, just please indicate the number of children on your RSVP so we can make sure we have enough food for everyone! Please note, we will have an open bar for cocktail hour and the reception- if you bring your kids along, they will be your responsibility for the evening!
Yes, we will provide transportation to and from the hotel block at the Fairmont. A link to our hotel block is on the Travel & Accommodations page. We will update the Travel & Accommodations page with more transportation information as the day approaches.
Well, it's Texas and can be pretty unpredictable- we recommend checking the forecast the weeks leading up to our wedding for a better idea. You should expect temperatures somewhere in the 60s-80s (not in the 100s at least) and we're hoping for sunny/partly sunny skies! There is always the chance of a big ol' rainstorm though :)
The ceremony and cocktail hour are planned to be outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception will be inside the beautiful barn (with AC)! We do have weather contingency plans if it happens to be a rainy day.
YES! We are having our FAVORITE BBQ joint in Austin cater our big day and are excited to share it with all of you. Please let us know (via RSVP, text, or email) if you have special dietary restrictions (vegetarian, gluten free, etc) so we can plan with the caterer accordingly. We will also have an open bar for the evening to keep the party going!
We will be out and about downtown Austin the night before the wedding. We'll try to keep everyone up to date as the day approaches. We're sticking around for the whole weekend after our wedding and will, again, do our best to keep everyone posted on our plans. However, we know there is SO much to do and see in Austin and if you'd like to do your own thing, we encourage you to do so! We added a bunch of recommendations on our site and would be thrilled to help you plan anything you have in mind. Just let us know!
There are no vaccine requirements in the state of Texas, nor the city of Austin right now. However, we strongly encourage all guests to be vaccinated to protect themselves and others.
