Ceremony
3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Formal yet comfortable!
For the Ceremony, enter in the main entrance (under The Bartlett sign) on 12th street next to Commonwealth Joe’s Café. The street outside the main entrance is under construction but the sidewalk is open to any ride shares may drop you off at While Foods and then it’s a minute walk to the main entrance. The front desk staff will have a list of everyone’s names so please check in with them and they will let you up the elevators. We will have signs in place and folks to escort you, yet here are the directions: take the elevators to the 16th floor. Once you exit the elevator turn to the left and walk all the way down to the other side of the hallway on that floor. Keep walking until you find another set of elevators. Take those to the roof (R elevator button). Springtime (varying colors, floral) theme. The theme is open to your interpretation, however you want to dress! We will be wearing suits and sunglasses. We encourage everyone to bring their favorite sunglasses for photos! 😎 🥳 The rooftop has an indoor/outdoor area in case of rain. Kids are welcome! Check the weather forecast! It might be a good idea to have a raincoat or umbrella handy for walking in and out of the building.
Reception
4:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Formal, comfortable attire. Comfortable shoes especially encouraged. If needed, there are restrooms where you can change.
We will have folks to escort you, yet here are the instructions: take the same elevators back down to the 16th floor and you will see signs for The Loft. Keep walking down the hallways following the signs. Dinner and drinks will be provided. This rooftop also has an indoor/outdoor area in case of rain. Kids are welcome!
After Party

Shaw’s Tavern is a neighborhood staple in DC and we hope you can join us at one of our favorite brunch spots. Kids are welcome! We have a reservation in our name and we will be sitting on the ground level patio. Check out their website for the Brunch Menu: https://www.shawstavern.com They have bottomless mimosas for those who partake :) It might be a good idea to have a raincoat or umbrella handy for walking in and out of the building.
