We met the old fashioned way, online! Micheal's profile picture was of him working out at a Crossfit gym and since Amanda shared an interest in that she scoured the picture for a good opening line. Alas, a random guy dressed up as a caveman behind him and so Amanda's opening line was naturally "where's your costume". From there we started conversations and, ironically, both of us had planned trips to Europe and Ireland for almost the same exact dates. Seeing a connection we had our first date a few weeks later. We kept it simple and met up for drinks at the Met Bar in Dedham. Michael thought it was just for drinks but Amanda had other thoughts and crushed some tacos while we were there. Needless to say Michael was impressed by Amanda's taco choice and we arranged a second date. Our second date, realizing Amanda wasn't from the area, Michael took her on a 6 hour tour of southern Massachusetts - we survived and the rest is, as they say, history. Here we are today so very glad you'll be there on the day we start our lives together as a family.
