While neither of us can exactly pinpoint what made us pause and swipe right, it probably had something to do with a combination of boat and ski photos, blue eyes, kind smiles, and perhaps Al's tagline "designated driver seeking designated drinker". Whatever it was, a conversation that started with "where's your boat going?", soon turned into a first of many hikes at Horsetooth with a then tiny Billy in tow. It was pretty quick that we became inseparable, with a few stick-and-pokes and a Halloween party in between. By May we were house shopping, and we became landlord and tenant. It's been 3.5 years of adventures, nightly sleepovers, and savoring your partner being your roommate being your best friend. We decided to make it forever this summer. We designed Ali's ring together, using an emerald that her dad gifted her when she was a toddler (thanks Dad!). After a couple of months, a severe lack of patience on Al's part, and some scheming and manipulation on Mike's, he proposed atop Cameron Pass, on the most beautiful, sparkly winter day. The dogs were thrilled. We are inviting y'all to come celebrate this big love with in all the best ways we know how - splashin', dancin', hootin' and hollerin'. Call in sick kids, we are partying on a Sunday! We hope you will make a trip out of it and come soak up all the bliss of the weekend with us. We cannot wait to celebrate our marriage with all of our most important humans. We only get to do this once, so let's dance about it!
