Things to Know

Question

Are Kids Welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, only those listed on the invitation may attend our special day. We want you free to fully enjoy the celebration!

Question

What to expect from an Anglican Wedding Ceremony

Answer

We attend an Anglican church and will be married by our priest. The liturgical ceremony will include scripture readings, a sermon (or homily), the exchange of vows and rings, a proclamation of marriage, and Holy Communion. The service will last around forty-five minutes. Holy Communion will be served through Common Cup and open to all who have been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Guests may participate in Holy Communion by Intinction, dipping their bread in the wine. Children and those not wishing to participate may come to the altar with crossed arms for a blessing or remain seated.

Question

Do I need to RSVP for the Welcome Event?

Answer

No, it is a large indoor/outdoor space, and we will be parked out under the trees by the picnic tables. Come for some or all of the time. We can't wait to hug you!

Question

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony, dinner, and dancing are all indoors (it's June in Texas, y'all. We do not want you to melt). The cocktail hour will be outside in shaded areas.
