Things To Do

We encourage our out-of-town guests to extend your trip and take advantage of our beautiful city during your stay. Below are some of our favourite outdoor spaces and eats near the city.

Stanley Park

Vancouver, BC V6G 1Z4, Canada

A must-see for any first-time visitors to Vancouver. One of our favourite walking routes is along the seawall from our condo in Yaletown, all the way around Stanley Park. If you need a break from all the walking, visit the Stanley Park Brewery located inside the park near the tennis courts and chip-and-putt course.

Saint Marks Summit

BC V7S, Canada

Located at Cypress Mountain in West Vancouver, St. Marks is an intermediate hike with views of the rugged mountains and sparkling waters below. Pro tip: bring some unsalted nuts to secure the title of BFF with the local chipmunks!

Squamish Chief

38117 Second, Squamish, BC V8B, Canada

Michaela nearly quit halfway through this hike, and almost left Sam to complete the trek himself -- but she's glad she didn't. At the top of the Chief, you are rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, Howe Sound, and the town of Squamish below.

Kitsilano Beach

Vancouver, BC, Canada

Don’t let the above suggestions fool you—we’re not scaling mountains every weekend. In the summer, you’re more likely to find us unwinding at Kitsilano Beach. Our favorite hangout? BATCH, a breezy open-air pub above the Kits pool, perfect for sipping craft beers and ciders in a relaxed setting.

Granville Island

Vancouver, BC, Canada

Accessible by foot - or better yet, water taxi - Granville Island is a one-stop shop for all things food, shopping, and entertainment.

The Lunch Lady

1046 Commercial Drive, Vancouver, BC V5L 3W9, Canada

The Lunch Lady offers a fresh, modern take on Vietnamese street food and has rightfully earned a place on the Michelin Guide. It’s a favourite for both tourists and locals, so reservations are a smart move. After enjoying your meal, take a stroll down Commercial Drive to explore its unique boutiques, thrift shops, and vibrant live music venues.

East Is East

3035 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6K 2G9, Canada

With spots on Main Street and West Broadway, East is East serves up a taste of the Silk and Spice Road. If you’re feeling hangry after a day of exploring, their Silk Route Feast Tasting Menu is the perfect fix!

The Naam

2724 West 4th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6K 1R1, Canada

The NAAM is one of our favourite spots in Kitsilano for a quick, casual bite. Offering vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, there's something for everyone here.

Jingle Bao

774 Denman Street, Vancouver, BC V6G 1C9, Canada

If you're in the mood for dim sum, you'll want to stop at Jingle Bao. Located in the West End, Jingle Bao offers quick service and out-of-this-world soup dumplings. Our personal favourite is the Signature Rainbow Xiao Long Bao.
