FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is formal. We kindly ask that guests wear cocktail dresses, long gowns, or suits. Please avoid wearing white dresses or tuxedos.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive at the venue between 3:30 and 3:45 p.m., to ensure everyone is seated in time for the ceremony.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

While the venue's parking lot is sizeable, it is shared with its golf course users. We suggest you try to arrange for a carpool or arrive early to secure a parking spot.

Question

What is the timeline for the day?

Answer

The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m., followed by a cocktail hour and the reception. Please refer to the "Schedule" tab for further details.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space at the venue, we are only able to accommodate those guests listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

While we would be honoured to make it to your Instagram page, we ask that you please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. There will be plenty of opportunities for photos following the ceremony and during the reception.

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

When completing your RSVP, you will be prompted to list any dietary restrictions you may have. We will convey those dietary restrictions to our caterer and ensure that everyone can enjoy their meals, worry-free.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved a hotel block at Sandman Hotel Vancouver Downtown for our out-of-town guests. Please refer to the "Accommodations" tab for further details.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We do not have an online registry -- your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. However, if you feel inclined, we would be grateful for contributions to our fund for our first home.
