Anna Vargas

Matron of Honor

Anna and I are two years apart, and the only other sister who is married! We were (still are!) super close growing up, and literally did EVERYTHING together. We talk everyday on the phone, sometimes twice! She is one of my favorite humans, basically my twin, and truly my best friend. We still sing Les Miserables by memory, dance in the kitchen to One Direction, and gush about our current book obsessions. Anna is a strong, tenacious woman with a flair for all things cottage-core. She's also an incredible photographer and a plant mom! Last time I checked I think she had over 30 plants! Whenever I feel disorganized, I talk to her. She keeps me grounded.

Julia Ferrar

Bridesmaid

Julia (Or "J" as we call her,) is the third oldest Ferrar sister and truly the rock of the family. Yes, it drives her crazy that we compliment her all the time, but she is really one of the smartest people I know. I like to say that when I grow up, I want to be like Julia. Her calm, sweet (but also spicy!) nature along with her logic and wisdom make her someone who is always there to listen. She may be younger than me, but I look up to J so much. I've watched this girl fight for so many things in life, and she has faced them all without fear. If I had to sum Julia up in a few words, they would be BRAVE, STRONG, STEADFAST, and PATIENT.

Maria Ferrar

Bridesmaid

Maria is the 4th Ferrar sister, and the only one currently (I say currently, because I'm getting the whole family here someday!) in the Carolina's! Goodness, where do I start with Maria? Well, its crazy to think of her when she was a baby....it seemed like such a huge age gap when we were kids. Now we are literal best friends, and pretty much do everything together, from nightly walks at our favorite park, random coffee dates, and thrifting trips (Maria is the queen of thrifting!) Her gentle, kind, loving spirit for Jesus shines through everything she does.

Lidia Ferrar

Bridesmaid

There are 11 years between me and my baby sister, Lidia. Not a baby anymore! Lidia is an effortless, elegant, giving, passionate woman. She's basically a model, even though she doesn't see it. I have watched her grow from a rambunctious kid into a graceful lady. Recently when I visited home Lidia washed my sheets and made my bed, all without even asking! That's the kind of person she is. I don't get to spend much time with her these days, but when I do we have endless things to chat about. I'm excited to see what God continues to do in her life!

Sarah Kozelek

Bridesmaid

Sarah and I met, gosh, how long has it been now? A LONG time ago. We first bonded when we worked on a costume project for a high school play. Later we became roommates, and I have so many amazing memories from then! We did everything together---watching way too many crime shows, grocery shopping, going to movies, and talking long into the night. Even though we live far apart, Sarah is one of those people my heart can always come home to. We still talk for hours on the phone (I think our longest was 5!) and she is always there to listen and support me.

Marissa Hall

Marissa is the sister of my heart. She is my oldest bestie and the person I go back to, again and again. I was a bridesmaid in her wedding, so it's only natural to have her in mine! We have been through so much together, 12 years of growing pains. I've watched her blossom and grow, and she is always there to catch me when I fall. There are few people more loyal than Marissa. If you know her, you know that her contagious energy will always pursue, no matter the distance. She has a huge heart for people and Jesus, and she LOVES nature. Don't be surprised if she has a snake in her purse!

Sundae

Dogsmaid

Have you ever heard of a "Dogsmaid"? We are short a bridesmaid, so our puppy Sundae is stepping into the role! She is literally our baby (and yes, we probably spoil her a bit.) The sweetest, funniest, most loveable pooch around! Sundae will be walking down the aisle and staying for pictures, but no reception for her! She's the best girl, so it shouldn't be a problem getting her to cooperate. She's even getting her own corsage!
