Michaela and Paul have watched countless sunsets at Pete’s Rock, arrive early, hike a short, steep climb to the top and enjoy one too! Don’t want to hike? Pull over on Wasatch Blvd instead and enjoy the sunset from your car.

Big Cottonwood Canyon
When all else fails, Michaela and Paul love a mountain drive. Drive up Big Cottonwood Canyon! Keep an eye out for moose and give the boardwalk at Silver Lake a stroll. Make the drive even more epic and take Guardsman’s Pass into Park City for lunch or spend the entire day and drive through Wasatch Mountain State Park, “Little Switzerland” Midway, down Provo Canyon, and up Alpine Scenic Loop.

Antelope Island State Park
A lesser visited, but equally loved drive of Michaela and Paul’s. Dubbed a “mini safari”, enjoy sweeping views of The Great Salt Lake and keep an eye out for bison!
