The first time I visited the cottage in 2012, Kristjan and I carved our initials into a birch tree by the lake, and this tree inspired our wedding invitations.

Our ceremony will be almost at the edge of Lake Winnipeg, in the front yard of the Schellenberg cottage.

We love having bonfires on the beach. Hopefully, if the weather is good, we'll be having one on the night of our wedding too!
