What's the attire?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable! But if you're looking for some guidance, the "vibe" of our wedding is "vintage 1920's abandoned ballroom overtaken by nature." So, whatever that looks like. Keep in mind, the ceremony will be on the grass, and there will be bonfires, and lawn games throughout the property

How do I get to the Schellenberg cottage?

Answer

From the perimeter: turn North onto Highway 8 to Gimli. Continue past Gimli for approximately 20 minutes, and turn right towards Hnausa and continue driving to the stop sign. Go straight through the stop sign onto the gravel road past the Hnausa General Store and follow our signs to the cottage.

Are you organizing any shuttles from Gimli or Winnipeg to the cottage?

Answer

No, sorry. Unfortunately, we are unable to organize any shuttles. But we strongly encourage people to carpool! If you are looking for a ride, let us know and we will see if we can find someone for you to carpool with.

Are you having an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will provide beer and wine, as well as a few non-alcoholic drinks. If you would like to have spirits, please feel free to bring your own!

Is there parking at the ceremony/reception site?

Yes! We will have a family member directing you where to park when you arrive. There is limited space however, so please carpool, if possible.
