Wedding Party

Aubrey Elbert

Maid of Honor

"I am Michaela's older sister. We grew up sharing a room, and as we got older even became roommates when Michaela was in college."

Richard Bell

Best Man

“I first met Jeff a few short hours after he was born. I don’t recall that first meeting, but I assume that I immediately felt the presence of my life long nemesis. You see I have some great memories of my time with my brother but also some not so fond ones. Early in my youth I recall a specific time my brother stole my candy after a piñata fell at a birthday party. There was another time where we were outside playing games and he made me upset so I chased him and threw baseballs at him. And then there was countless times where he blamed me for something I didn’t do by running to my mother crying. But, at the end of the day, that’s what brothers are for. He’s been a best friend and a great brother. Some day I will beat him at golf.”

Deborah Bell

Bridesmaid

“I first met Michaela in the Spring of 1998. I remember my parents dropping me off at my grandparents house and a few days later when they picked me and my brother and sister up…they had a dark-haired little baby with them. The first meeting went pretty well and not much was said from my recollection. Michaela quickly became a real-life baby doll for me. I used to dress her up in little bonnets and dresses and carry her around everywhere my mother would let me. Not much has changed these days-I still give her advice on clothes and take the big sister role seriously.”

Kyle Hillard

Groomsman

"I know Jeff from PSU Harrisburg. Jeff and I graduated PSU together in December 2013. We had Civil Engineering classes together, but the deal was sealed when I 'reintroduced' Jeff to proper fishing techniques. So yes, you can blame me for giving Jeffery the fishing bug. He's got it bad and it's a lifelong condition. From then until now, we have gone on countless fishing trips from the Swatara Creek behind Pineford at PSU HBG to lakes in Ontario Canada to the Susquehanna River, close to home. I have shared countless memories with Jeff that will stay with me forever. I couldn't ask for a more giving, selfless, kind and trustworthy person than Jeffery Bell. I couldn't be more grateful to have Jeff and Mickey in my life!!"

Courtney Ackerman

Bridesmaid

“I met Michaela almost 3 years ago. She was my first capstone nursing student. She was adventurous, wanted to learn and matched my goofy energy, so I knew we were destined to be best friends. The past 3 years have flown by and “Mickey” is apart of our family now. While I will miss her terribly, I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you guys and we will be on the first plane to visit! Love you guys congratulations!”

Brad Wenzel

Groomsman

"Jeff and I met the first day of kindergarten when I got in trouble for calling him baldy. Prior to the first day of school he had cut his own hair with scissors so Mrs. Bell had to shave it all off. After I got released from time out and apologized, we've been great friends ever since. We grew up playing baseball and basketball together, and also dominating out brothers (Rich & Dev) in backyard sports. Nowadays, we enjoy playing golf and drinking beer together in our Tuesday night golf league at Berkleigh Country Club."

Elise Kopecky

Bridesmaid

"Michaela and I met officially in person as roommates for nursing school, but unofficially over text planning on where to live before moving to New Braunfels. After getting to know one another, we became a lot close and she truly became my best friend at TLU shortly after. That was in 2020 and 4 years later, I still consider her to be one of my best friends We have been there for each other during our lowest lows and highest highs and I cannot express how truly grateful I am to have her in my life. I am so excited to see her take this next big step in her life and cannot wait to be apart of her and Jeff's future."

Derek Lopez

Groomsman

"I have known Jeff for over 20 years, dating back to the day Jeff learned that there was at least one Hispanic at Fleetwood middle school. We became fast friends being the only ginger/hispanic combo in the county."

Megan Bruntz

Bridesmaid

"Michaela and I met in nursing school and immediately became the best of friends, study buddies, and always found time for outdoor adventures!"

Joey Dantas

Groomsman

"I met Jeff in elementary school and through little league baseball. Some of my first memories are from 4th grade at Andrew Maier with Jeff and Brad. We went on to middle and high school together. We played baseball against each other all the way through college, culminating with a controversial out call at the plate in Myrtle Beach! Despite the call we are still great friends to this day."

Valeria Cantu

Bridesmaid

"Michaela started off as my husband's friend, but after hanging out in college and going on trips together, we quickly formed our own friendship! I'm glad to have experienced so many new adventures with her and can't wait for her to start the biggest adventure of her life!"

Michael Cantu

Groomsman

"Michaela and I met by mistake. We both got hired at the same restaurant, but only because the managers thought we were the same person. Long story short, they saw 'Michaela' and 'Michael,' got their wires crossed and we ended up both getting the job! Ever since then, I consider her to be one of the best coworkers I've ever worked with. On the other hand, I first met Jeffery at a country music festival. He was there as Michaela's date, but of course he was running late, so to make up for his tardiness, he brought over a few beers. He introduced himself and hands me one of the beers. It was at that moment that I knew he was the one!"
