The dress code is black tie optional - floor length gowns for the ladies and tuxes or suit and tie for the gentlemen. Dress to impress! We kindly ask you stay away from the colors white, white florals and cream. Please note the beautiful bridesmaids will be wearing champagne; however, guests are still welcome to wear the color to the wedding if they wish.
Although we love your little ones, we intend to keep this an adults-only celebration (with a few exceptions for our immediate family).
Due to limited capacity, we will only be able to accommodate those specifically addressed on your invitation.
We kindly ask all guests to arrive to the ceremony location (The Tyde at Walnut Beach) between 5:30 and 5:45 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. We understand a few guests may need to arrive later. If that is the case we kindly ask you wait outside of the ceremony space if the ceremony has already begun.
Weather permitting the ceremony will be held on the outdoor lower terrace. (The terrace does not require any walking on grass.)
We respectfully request that guests put away their phones and cameras during the ceremony as we have a wonderful professional photographer who will be certain to get all the perfect shots! We invite you to enjoy the moment as we tie the knot, and we are excited to share all the photos with you after the celebration!
Yes! We are so excited to dance the night away with you all. For convenience, the after party will be held at the same venue as the other wedding day events and will conclude at 1 AM.
Yes - we have reserved a room block at the Springhill Suites in Milford. Visit our travel tab on our wedding website to book your room before July 7th for a special discount.
Yes - there will be two buses leaving the Springhill Suites Milford at 5:15 and 5:30 PM to head to the Tyde. Please meet down in the lobby to catch one of these buses for a short 8 min drive. At the end of the night, we will also have two buses returning to the hotel.
There is free parking located directly next to the Tyde.
