It is roughly a 35 minute drive from the Canyons Village or a 45 minute drive to downtown Park City from the Salt Lake City Airports. Ubers to Park City are easy to catch and reasonably priced. Renting a car would only be necessary if you are extending your stay or plan on traveling outside of the downtown Park City area, like to the Cottonwoods, Salt Lake City, Sundance, Heber, or the Jordanelle. Otherwise, you are within walking, bike, bus, or a quick/easy/reasonably priced Uber's distance from many of the places you would want to go. There is a public shuttle service available as well between the Canyons mountain resort and town, and we have a provided a shuttle for all of our guests in order to get to the ranch for our wedding ceremony and reception. The rehearsal dinner is walking distance from the hotel block in the Canyons Village
Both our wedding ceremony and reception will be taking place at a ranch about 25 minutes driving distance from the Canyons Village on August 3, 2024. More details to come!
While we love our young friends, the events this weekend are for adults only. We are excited for you to make a vacation out of our wedding. If you need a babysitter, please contact https://www.parkcitysitters.com
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will take place outdoors, before moving indoors for the reception. The average high and low in July is ~80° / ~60°, and the air is quite dry. We are in the mountain at elevation so it can become brisk at night. Please come prepared with a jacket, wrap or coat for wedding day and the rehearsal dinner welcome celebration.
In keeping with tradition, we request that the bride be the only one wearing all white. The attire is fun formal, black tie optional. Yes, you can never go wrong with a black dress, but we encourage our guests to channel their creativity with brighter colors, bold prints, and embellishments. We’d recommend long dresses and suits with shoes suitable for walking on grass. We want you to be comfortable while looking sleek, fun and fabulous!

Up in the Wasatch Mountains, Park City is at an altitude of 7000-8300 feet. We recommend drinking plenty of water and taking it easy your first day! Altitude sickness is very rare at this elevation, but there are medications available if you’re concerned.
