Fly directly to Wilmington! This is the closest airport to our recommended hotels and wedding venue. If you fly into Wilmington, you might not need a rental vehicle. You might find using Uber/Lyft to be more economical.

Raleigh-Durham International Airport

Raleigh-Durham Airport is what we like to call "Colorado" friendly. You can find direct flights and great roundtrip deals. NOTE: This is 2 hours from Wilmington, and there are no bus routes. You will need to find transportation, we highly suggest renting a vehicle from this airport. However, on the plus side, you will have a car to explore around town and get you to and from the beach as many times as your little heart desires.

Myrtle Beach International Airport

Myrtle Beach Airport is a nice middle ground between the Wilmington and Raleigh airports. There is a good mix of indirect/direct and affordable flights. NOTE: This is 90 minutes from Wilmington. You may or may not choose to rent a vehicle and take a Lyft/Uber to Wilmington instead. Just make sure you plan your return ride in advance so you don't miss your flight!
