Is the ceremony outdoors or indoors?

Answer

If you know us then you can probably guess that our ceremony will be outside on a lake. Please dress accordingly!

What if it rains?

Answer

We will be getting married outdoors rain or shine, unless there is lightning. Please bring appropriate clothing and gear.

What should I wear?

Answer

As we will be outside it will certainly not be a black tie event, but we would like to make it semi-formal so please leave your jeans at home!

Where do I park?

Answer

The entrance to Sylvan lake takes you to the lodge as well as the picnic area. We are having our ceremony in the picnic area.

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

If it is noted on your invite, yes! You are welcome to bring another person. However as we are trying to keep our wedding small and intimate we can only accommodate so many plus ones.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We recognize that for many this will serve as a vacation as well as a wedding, so we welcome children if it is noted on your invitation! If not, consider our wedding a getaway!

Can I take photos?

Answer

We ask that you minimize your picture taking during the ceremony since we have a photographer to take the photos for everyone. After and at the reception you are absolutely welcome to take as many photos as you like!
