Where should I stay?
We encourage everyone to stay in Big Sur. We recommend booking early, as there are limited options. Our top 3 recommendations in Big Sur are: -Big Sur Lodge (we have a large, discounted room block) -Fernwood Resort -Big Sur River Inn Other cabin options include Ripplewood Resort, Riverside Campground & Cabins, and Big Sur Campground & Cabins. There are other, more expensive/luxurious options including Glen Oaks, Alila Ventana, and Post Ranch Inn. The closest cities to Big Sur with accommodations are Carmel and Monterey, which are a 40 and 50 minute drive away, respectively. If you do plan to stay outside of Big Sur, please ensure you have a designated driver. There is no Uber/Lyft in Big Sur, and our shuttle service is only available within Big Sur.
