Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park
Featuring breathtaking views of the Shenandoah Valley, The Skyline Drive runs 105 miles north and south along the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Shenandoah National Park and is the only public road through the Park. It takes about three hours to travel the entire length of the Park on a clear day. The Front Royal Entrance Station is located at mile marker '0' by Route 66 and Route 340.
Skyline Caverns
Located less than a 10 minute drive away from the venue, Skyline Caverns provides a day of adventure. Explore the underground caverns in the Shenandoah Valley that features anthodites, and rare rock formations. Open daily, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Glen Manor Vineyards
Established in 1995, Glen Manor Vineyards is a family owned and operated estate vineyard in the Shenandoah Valley. The estate started as 6 acres of land, but now spans 226 of pastures, forests, and vineyard. If you want to enjoy the scenery with a glass of wine, come and visit! Note: Walk-in groups of up to four guests (including minors and non-drinkers) will be accommodated without a reservation. For groups of up to 6 guests, reservations are required. Open Wednesday - Sunday, 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
Spelunker's
Featured in the Washington Post, Spelunkers is your go to spot for that hamburger and fries that will soak up all the libations you are about to consume (or consumed) celebrating our marriage. They are also known for their daily special custard and other sweet-tooth cravings. Open Daily 11:00 am - 10:00 pm
The Apple House
In nearby Linden, The Apple House is an iconic roadside gem known far and wide for its warm, freshly made apple butter cinnamon donuts that are irresistible. Donuts are always on the menu, but they also serve delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Open Daily: Monday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Tuesday - Friday, 7:00 am - 8:00 pm
Dickey Ridge Trailhead
This 4.5-mile loop trail is located in Shenandoah National Park and offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The trail is rated as moderate and is perfect for hikers looking for a shorter, yet challenging hike.
