Micaela Henri & Chase

Henri and Chase met in 2016 in Baltimore where they were both pursuing master's degrees. When Henri met Chase, it was instantly clear there was something there.

Fast-forward to 2017, and Chase and Henri had to decide if they would try long-distance while Henri worked in Nepal. An 8 hour and 45 minute timezone difference couldn't stop them, and Henri fought all of Delta customer service to make sure to surprise Chase on the night of his 26th birthday by coming home. 

Chase moved to Boston in 2018 for a JD/PhD at Northeastern University, while Henri stayed in Baltimore for a PhD at Johns Hopkins University. After a year and a half of distance, they flew to Spain in February 2020 and got engaged, hammering their silver rings together. By March, the pandemic was beginning, and Henri packed up the car to move up to Boston with Chase. 

Now, after an engagement as long as the pandemic, they're excited to commit their lives together and celebrate a love spanning 6 years and 4 continents.
