What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Plan to arrive from 3:00-3:10pm as the ceremony will start promptly at 3:30pm.

What should I do if I get to the venue early?

Answer

Monserate's tasting room will be open at 11am and is a short walk from our wedding venue if you would like to do a wine tasting or enjoy a glass.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside on the lawn, so sunglasses are recommended. Dinner will be in the courtyard under the stars, so a wrap is recommended.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is ample parking for the ceremony and reception. Ceremony and reception will be held in the same area so you will not need to move your car in between.

Can I leave my car at the venue overnight?

Answer

Yes, you can leave your car overnight at the Monserate venue parking lot. Gates open at 9am the following morning so you can pick your car up the next day.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The morning after the wedding, on 05/25/2026, the bride's mother will be hosting an optional casual brunch at her house from 11:30-1:30pm at 2705 Glasgow Drive Carlsbad, CA 92010. Brunch will include bagels, bubbles and brew (coffee)!
