Meeting through friends of friends at Gonzaga, their bromance later blossomed once they moved to Seattle where they bonded over basketball, craft beer, all of the shows, and having fun through thick and thin. Matt is at his best making or receiving incredibly esoteric jokes or favorite show references that land with Adrian. Matt is the most loyal and true of friends one could ever ask for AND he's funny too. Unfortunately, he was not blessed with incredibly attractive features and the piercingly deep blue eyes of an ice dragon you can be both simultaneously lost and found in. Nobody's perfect, and Matt is living proof of how cruel a hand fate can deal.
Erin Nash
Maid of Honor
Soul sister and maid of honor, Erin has been Micaela's bestie since they met at Western. They worked together at the Rustic Coffee Bar in Fairhaven and learned that they were neighbors, living in the Happy Valley area on either side of the Taylor street stairs. Both having very peculiar senses of humor and always laughing at each other's jokes, they became fast friends. Although they no longer live a stone's throw away from one another, they share an unwavering bond. Either exploring the great outdoors or enjoying a relaxing evening in, it's always a great time filled with laughter and heart to heart conversations when these two are together.
Julian Johnson

JJ met AP at Gonzaga University, the 1st day of orientation. It was destiny that had them seated together on the bus and then cabin mates before classes began. After some jokes & seamless riffing, it was clear they'd get along famously. Julian is great for an impassioned argument about utter nonsense, deep existential musings, or generally keeping any group in stitches. His personality and enormous smile are magnets for good people and besides being Adrian's 1st best friend in adulthood, he was Adrian's travel copilot on his 1st trip exploring Paris, Germany, Prague, Budapest, and Barca. He'd probably be in the NBA by now (and indeed the average Spokanian thought he already was) if not for his broke jump shot that always gets blocked into the 3rd row by Adrian. Learn to pump-fake bruh.
Lauren Cronin

Micaela met Lauren through a close friend, who was Lauren's roommate at the time. New to the Seattle area after moving from Bellingham, Micaela was eager to make new friends and Lauren was one of the first! They initially bonded over Bachelor & Bachelorette watch parties (hating on all of the contestants) and sharing curly hair tips & tricks. Their friendship blossomed as they got to know eachother and discover how much they enjoyed each other's company and had in common. If Stitch Fix had a style genre, 'geriatric boho' would be the top pick for Micaela & Lauren; two old souls who prioritize comfort but are also 'in' with what's trendy ;)
Chad Armstrong

Chad and Adrian have been thick as thieves since the age of 6 when they were in the same 1st grade class in school. Music, bikes, exploring the outdoors, musical raps, Power Rangers, school projects, and a borderline unhealthy appreciation for Saturday Night Live were all staples to their youth. If you ever wondered who wouldn't shut the hell up chatting at the back of every classroom grades 1-12, it was those two. Chad is equal parts Ron Swanson, Bob Ross, Joe Rogan, and a pun shooting tommy gun. You can count on him to either upholster your chair or give you great advice via haiku. He is the type of friend everyone wishes they had and an inspiration to "Chads" everywhere to step their game up. Chad is pulling double duty as the officiant and a groomsman.
Natalie Crandall

Micaela met the aspiring Disney princess, Natalie through Lauren. Micaela was drawn to Natalie's vibrant energy and fun loving personality that brightens every room she walks in to. She is always down for an adventure: camping, hiking, biking, snow shoeing, running a half marathon, arts & crafts (although often resulting in Pinterest fails), you name it, Natalie is game. She is the cheerleader you can count on to provide that extra push you need to get back on track to meet any goal or challenge. Channeling our favorite Peloton instructor, Jess Sims, Natalie always reminds us that 'WE CAN DO HARD THINGS!"
Brandon Carter

Brandon and Adrian met playing on a powerhouse soccer club of the most elite Spartan 7-year-olds in all of Skagit County, WA (Ragen Mackenzie). Their friendship led to music, video projects, sketch comedy, puzzles, camping trips, video games, science AND progress. You can count on Brandon to give you really happy hugs, sincerely deep perspectives, and super goofy characters like accordion prodigy Jimmy Jasper. Before becoming roommates in Queen Anne Seattle a couple of years after college, Adrian and Brandon were both getting really into Coldplay. Still are. If Adrian were to describe their friendship in one word, it'd probably have to be "Yellow." There is no connection here, it's just the correct answer.
Ciara Callais

In college, Ciara had studied abroad and been roomates with Lauren. The stars aligned when Ciara and Erin were both looking for a roommate. More friend circles collided and the rest is history! Ciara's quick, witty humor keeps Micaela and they rest of the gang in stiches. Winning the cocktail concoction contents and every friend bake off challenge, she is extremely ambitious and artful in all hobbies she pursues (a true Slytherin, through and through). A voracious reader, she always has the best book recommendations… except when she proposes that the book club read novels about murder, surgeries gone wrong, or contagion outbreaks.
Scott Cary

Scott and Adrian met in 2nd grade on the soccer field and became fast friends. They loved watching Austin Powers movies and reading Sonic the Hedgehog comics on road trips to Tube Time in Bellingham. You can count on Scott for a long deep phone conversation full of clever jokes, excellent jeers at a ballgame, playing every manner of games (be it of the board or hammer variety), or going for a lovely trail run. Scott is a natural performer and you'll never find a better sing-along companion to belt out loud on a road trip with or collaborator for a big audacious idea. A gift to both men and women alike from the Gods, those who know him best often refer to him as "Odin's Gift." Where others Zig, he Zags. Where most men roll down hills, he rolls UP them.
Elle Zarate

Micaela & Elle met at La Venture middle school, having many of the same friends growing up. In high school, they both took every Spanish and Chicano studies class available, they loved learning about Mexican culture! They'd been friends for a very long time but after college, Elle was looking to move to Seattle. She moved in with Micaela in Queen Anne and they became very close friends. They've made so many great memories in that first apartment, having a blast exploring Seattle together while kicking off their careers in the big city.
Patrick Metzger

Patrick and Adrian met their 1st year at Gonzaga doing game mgmt for the sports program waiting for the call-up from Coach Few. Their mutual love for bball, correctly identifying how handsome Daniel is, and movies led to them becoming fast friends and criminal gangsters with a healthy proclivity for homicide. They won many intramural championships with even more near wins and were roommates for three beautiful years on and off-campus in the affluently exclusive Logan neighborhood. There is a special glint that comes to Patrick's eyes, like Santa Clause when he's about to zoom back up the chimney, when he hears a bad idea that he is being told he should 100% not do. He also has an incredible deadpan that must be broken at all costs for his laugh feels like a prize. Also, his beard is good.
Leah Laughlin

June babies Leah & Micaela met in middle school as well. Leah played the trumpet, Micaela the saxophone. They loved playing music and were both in jazz band. Their friendship continued through high school and they were both involved in all the extra curricular activities that high school had to offer. In college they became roommates, kicking their friendship into high gear. Making so many wonderful memories, exploring the beauty of Bellingham recreation and exciting nightlife as new twenty-one year olds, overall just living the carefree college student lifestyle. FUN FACT! Leah sees people as produce or animals, so just ask her and she will reveal your true spirit vegetable.
Daniel Ellis

Daniel and Adrian met their 1st year at Gonzaga doing game management for the sports program celebrating good times; c'mon! Their mutual love for basketball, correctly identifying how handsome Patrick is, and music led to them becoming fast friends and the top acoustic performing act in Alaskan history. They were roommates their sophomore year and in a band their senior year which included a live duo acoustic performance for ~120 fainting women and yawning men. Daniel also shoots jump shots like a medicated T-Rex, but can shred a guitar solo while wearing snazzy sneakers very much coordinated with the rest of his A+ outfit. He is a Sayulita veteran, world traveler, Boise expert tour guide, and most likely to cry with you through glorious chain reaction fits of laughter.

Another curly hair companion, Jose & Micaela met at a nail salon when living in Queen Anne. He was there with Leah and other friends, all getting pedicures. Micaela & Jose clicked right away, insta family. He's so hilarious, loyal, and charismatic, there was no universe where the two weren't destined to be friends. They love to see new sights together; whether discovering new pockets of Seattle, taking a quick trip up to Vancouver BC to go dancing, or visiting Jose in sunny San Diego for Palentine's day. No matter the time or distance between them, they always pick right back up where they left off.
